Place your order
Check out as normal. No card or bank details are collected. You get an order number like CJ-1042 straight away, and the piece is held for you.

Open Cash App
Your confirmation page and email have a button that opens Cash App with the amount and the recipient already filled in. Or open the app yourself and send to $CedarJewelry.

The confirmation page shows the amount, the $cashtag and your order number, each with a copy button. The note is how your payment is matched to your order.

Your piece ships
Once the payment lands your order is marked paid and ships within three business days, with tracking emailed to you.
Why not cards?
For a studio of one, a card processor is another company between you and the maker, taking a cut of every piece and adding a layer that can fail.
Cash App sends the payment straight to the studio. There is no fee to pass on and nothing to go wrong in between. It is one small extra step for you, and it is part of why the prices are what they are.
Payment questions
After you place your order. Checkout collects no payment details at all — you submit your order, an order number is issued and the piece is reserved, and only then are you shown where to send the payment.
Your order number, exactly as shown — for example CJ-1042. It is how the payment is matched to your order. Forget it and nothing is lost, but the match has to be made by hand, which slows things down by up to a business day.
72 hours from placing the order. If payment hasn't arrived by then the piece may be released for sale again, though you'll always get an email first.
Yes. Send it across as many payments as you need, using the same order number in the For field each time, and they'll be reconciled against your total.
Yes. Refunds are sent back to the same $cashtag the payment came from, usually within one business day of being agreed.
Cash App moves money between accounts without either side seeing the other's bank details. Payments are not reversible by you once sent, which is why the confirmation page asks you to check the $cashtag and amount before sending.
